“In 80 Days Around the World” students in grades 6–8 will be taking a whirlwind tour around the globe, learning about world geography through research reports, projects, making maps,meeting people from other countries, playing geography games and participating in map challenges. Willingness to study, do research, keep a journal and work on projects outside of class will be an integral part of the class.
Meets Tuesdays, 10:00–11:45am in AFE Classroom 2, followed by a 30 minute lunch and 45 minute outdoor game time until 1:00pm. Jasmin is teaching this course in the fall semester and Nancy in the spring.
